Job Description
Role Summary: The Specialist, Infrastructure (Network Admin) is responsible for creating and managing high-level network designs, low-level designs, implementation plans, migration plans, and testing plans for new projects, while evaluating existing designs and offering suggestions for improvement.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support all Long Products Networks based on Cisco devices.
- Adapt the LAN/WLAN/Routing to the new requirements of the business.
- Maintain and improve security devices based on Cisco ASA/Firepower and Cisco ISE.
- Implement and maintain OT security devices based on Fortinet.
- Manage site-to-site VPN connections and IPsec VPN with Checkpoint and F5 Big IP APM.
- Manage and maintain Cisco Call Manager and wireless controller.
- Maintain IP telephony and IP conferencing systems.
- Ability to utilize the latest available network technology.
- Provide new design suggestions to address business challenges.
- Provide solutions for Service requests following the approved design.
- Address Network security incidents.
- Manage Network deployment projects such as cabling, ordering, installing, etc.
- Oversee 3rd party contractors in Industrial areas.
- Support the Wintel and End-User computing teams in addressing incidents.
- Adherence to the ITIL process (incident, problem, change, CMDB, etc).
- Provide a 24/7 support (On call duty).
- Monitor the network to detect issues early and implement preventive maintenance measures.
- Secure network systems by monitoring access and enforcing policies.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Network Administrator.
- Strong experience in infrastructure with extensive Networks and SD-WAN skills.
Skills
- L1 and L2 technical support for Network Printers, MS Teams, Outlook, and Exchange.
- Excellent knowledge of working on CISCO/HP/HFCL switches and routers.
- Excellent knowledge of working on Cisco Call Manager and Wireless Controller.
- Familiarity with firewalls, Internet VPN's remote implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Design, implement, and manage a fool proof network security policy.
- Ability to implement and configure security tools and software, including intrusion detection, firewalls, antivirus, etc.
- Determine known and unknown network vulnerabilities along with mitigation strategies.
- Ability to conduct regular security tests and security monitoring.
- Ability to maintain networks and network file systems.
- Manage the company's network and security equipment.
- Familiarity with Local Area Network, Wide Area Network, Firewall, Web Application Firewall, Network Management System, and Load balancer administration.
- Practical experience in Firewall checkpoint and Palo Alto.
- Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, WINS, and DFS in the Windows 2012 and Windows 2016 landscapes.
- Manage Symantec endpoint Protection and McAfee Endpoint Security.
- Implement and manage ISE and PAM.
Education
Computer, Network Engineering or equivalent.
