Sr. Auditor, Corporate and IT Audits

Role Summary: The Senior Internal Auditor for Corporate & IT Audits responsibility includes, but is not limited to, the execution of the audit and special assignments as per the instructions from the Senior Manager, Corporate & IT Audits.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Participation in the execution of audits according to the annual Internal Audit Plan and programs based on the international standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and guidance of the Senior Managers of Internal Audit.
• Preparing audit programs and templates to be worked on.
• Preparing of risk and control matrix.
• Performing the fieldwork in accordance with the notification letter shared with the auditee in order to assess the internal control system, determine the size and scope of the audit and test for compliance with policies and procedures.
• Auditing, inspecting and analyzing all data and records that would ensure completeness of the audit process to the fullest.
• Gathering the necessary information and data before the fieldwork visits starts in order to carry out the audit on a professional way.
• Preparing all the necessary reports and working papers and then presenting them to the Senior Managers of Internal Audit.
• Preparing and submitting internal audit draft reports to the Internal Audit Senior Managers.
• Attending the periodic meetings with the internal audit team to discuss and evaluate work progress mechanism and to take necessary actions.
• Implementation of the internal audit policies and procedures as well as ensuring compliance with them.
• Discussing and presenting observations and corrective actions of the audited departments and following up on their implementation periodically.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cyber Security, Finance, Business, Accounting or Engineering
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in internal or external auditing in a related industry sector or audit firm with at least 3 years in IT audits.
• Experience in executing technical audits.
• Proven experience in executing Information Technology, Cyber Security, and Governance Audits.

• Good command of the English language (verbal and written).
• Knowledge of SAP is required.
• Strong literacy in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work as an effective team player.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work with personnel from different professions and nationalities.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle a sizable volume of activities.
• Confident and assertive with an appropriate degree of courtesy and overall professionalism.
• Ability to analyse data and identify gaps and issues.
• Ability to draft good internal audit reports.
• Ability to execute Information Technology and Cyber Security Audits.
